Astrological update for March 28 – April 4, 2022

Ukrainian artist Valeriy Kot

This week as we build towards the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune that peaks on April 12th (catch up here if you missed my post on the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction) we have a fiery New Moon with three planets plus Chiron all in Aries.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac – the sign of initiation, blazing a new trail with courage and independence. At its best, Aries approaches life with the innocence of a young […]

2.5.21 Solitude and detachment for a few days with Venus activations

On February 5th, Saturn is within one degree of an exact square to Uranus that culminates on February 17th.  The Saturn/Uranus square is the story of 2021: Conflict between the old way (Saturn) and the changing world (Uranus). However, Saturn is in Aquarius which is RULED by Uranus so it’s already connected to the theme of change for the next two years.  Saturn is the planet that brings form to the theoretical, and in Aquarius we are likely to see innovation and technological advances which change our world in all […]

Planetary news this week! A Full Moon on 12/12 at 12:12!

Mars (drive and motivation) just moved into Taurus last week and will be traveling through that sign until […]

The astrology of Alexander McQueen

I just watched the documentary McQueen about fashion designer Alexander McQueen on Netflix and was struck by both his exceptional genius and his turbulent personal life and apparently fragile psyche.

McQueen was born on March 17, 1969.  (Geeky astrological details: Astro.com has provided a birth time of 10:45 am but this is not an accurate birth time – apparently his mother is quoted as having said his time of birth was sometime between 9:30 and midnight.  The ascendant is the most visible piece of an astrological chart since it reflects the persona and the style of […]
