Sun in Pisces

Sunday inspiration: The meaning of life from Stephen Levine

Many of you know, I’m sure, about the groundbreaking work of Stephen Levine. The attempt to find meaning in life spans every generation, from our teens, to midlife, and especially to those of us facing the twilight of our lives.

The Sun enters Pisces today, bringing our attention to the magic and illusion of experiences that lie beyond the veil. Under the influence of Pisces we can imagine our world differently, and find new meaning in unexpected ways. The traditional ruler of Pisces is Jupiter, the planet that defines meaning so I thought this would be an appropriate time to […]

Astrological news this week: A Leo Full Moon and a burst of inspiration with Jupiter and Uranus

artist unknown

This week the Moon is full in Leo, a bright burst of joyful energy to help waken up the senses and stimulate the search for true joy and personal satisfaction.  With six planetary bodies in Saturn-ruled signs (four in Capricorn and two in Aquarius), the energies have been a bit heavy recently so a Full Moon in fire will give us a nice boost.

The beautiful alignment between Jupiter and Uranus discussed in last week’s post culminates this week, helping us to break out of old patterns and […]

2.18.21 Sun enters Pisces and we rediscover the art of flow

art by John Emanuel Shannon

Don’t get me wrong – there are still four planets in Aquarius (Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus) so the electrical energy of Aquarius and its power to shatter old paradigms is still plenty intense. Yesterday’s hard square from Saturn (structures) to Uranus (radical new ideas) will still exert a strong influence for the next few weeks (see the posts from the past few days if you missed them), so there’s no need to get too comfortable.  But the Sun’s movement into Pisces, the sign […]

Planetary news this week: a Pisces trip through magic

RIP Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs astrologySteve Jobs, former head of Apple Computing, died yesterday after battling pancreatic cancer since 2004.  He was 56 years old.

I profiled Mr. Jobs back in 2009:

Jobs has an interesting chart with the Sun in Pisces. Pisces is the sign of spirituality and transcending the boundaries of ordinary physical reality.  Pisces types are typically creative, inspirational, easygoing and meditative with a thirst for a spiritual experience.  They are also emotional and can be quite sensitive.  After dropping out of college, Jobs spent some time in 1974 backpacking through […]

Apple Inc News: Steve Jobs’ Mars Problem

Steve JobsSteve Jobs is the creative genius behind the Apple Computing brand.  After Jobs was forced out in 1985 the company floundered, reviving after he staged a takeover that brought him back as CEO.
