Pallas Athena

2.6.21 A brilliant download with Mercury conjunct Pallas in Aquarius

Soul Bloom Art

Pallas is the goddess of divine intelligence and wisdom – she represents the root of all wisdom, and helps us to gain a higher understanding of our world, rising above our own concepts and beliefs to see a bigger picture. The asteroid Pallas is in Aquarius where she is quite comfortable, since under the influence of Aquarius the layers of multidimensional consciousness begin to open. Pallas was a name for Athena in her guise as the wise leader, and the asteroid Pallas symbolizes an innate wisdom […]

12.2.20 Pallas and Saturn combine for grounded wisdom today

art by Emily Balivet

The asteroid Pallas signifies Divine Wisdom and victory, and she has been traveling along with the Capricorn Trio (Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn) for much of this year suggesting that even though Capricornian restriction and the need for rebuilding the scaffolding that holds up our lives has been stressful, there has been a divine plan behind every action.  Today Pallas links up with Saturn, the King (ruler) of Capricorn, to aid in the rebuilding process.  The summer of retrogrades is behind us, and the […]

11.12.20 Pallas and the conjunction of Jupiter to Pluto

art by Ellen Vaman

The final phase of the Jupiter conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn hits today, and the evidence is everywhere.  Ideological (Jupiter) conflict (Pluto), the destruction and rebuilding (Pluto in Capricorn) of everything that we believe to be true (Jupiter).  The Archetypal Explorer put this chart together tracking the Covid peaks to the conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto, and you can clearly see the correlation. In our personal lives Jupiter and Pluto behave rather differently – under this influence the things […]

Astrological update for the week of November 9, 2020: Scorpio New SuperMoon, Mars direct, and lots lots more

There’s so much to talk about this week, and the video went a bit longer than usual.  I’m using timecodes now so you can go right to the parts that interest you, and it also makes it easier to go back to things you want to listen to a second or third time.  The Moon is New in Scorpio this week, and it’s a SuperMoon (I’ll be writing a blog article about that too a little later in the week).  Mars turns direct this week.  Mercury goes back into Scorpio. And it’s the final phase of Jupiter conjunct Pluto, and […]

The Mercury/Pallas conjunction of 2019

Mercury and Pallas are very different planetary bodies, and they differ in their astrological significance as well.  Mercury is a planet after all, and Pallas an asteroid.  Mercury’s orbit is quite short, just 88 days, where the orbit of Pallas is 1686 days.  In the astrological pantheon, planets are given primary importance with asteroids relegated to a minor role – they add details and color to the basic energies that the planets describe.

But Mercury and Pallas share an affinity for the mental realm – they both are concerned with learning and […]

New Moon in Pisces, February 21 2012

Art from Bianca Clipperton. Today’s New Moon is a juicy one, and will carry us into a new beginning of spiritual sensitivity and compassionate opening of the heart.

The New Moon in Pisces occurs on February 21 st. This is a particularly powerfully Neptunian New Moon since Neptune and Chiron flank the Sun and Moon, all within four degrees of each other. Mercury is also in Pisces, and if we look at the asteroids as well we see Pallas linking the Sun and Chiron.

Neptune and Pisces encourage us to transcend the physical world […]
