With the Sun and Moon aligned in Sagittarius, we begin a new chapter in the lunar wheel and there is an opportunity for expansion and greater knowledge as we expand our idea of what is possible. Sagittarius is the adventurer – the seeker of freedom and the one who breaks through limitations and artificially enforced boundaries to find true liberation and a path of higher knowledge.
The Sagittarius New Moon gives all of us an opportunity to open up to this energy – to learn to seek the possible rather than the familiar and expected. Under the Sagittarius New Moon our minds are blown wide open so that we can take in a higher level of understanding about the world around us.
This New Moon features the asteroid Juno (representing commitment and requirements of society) aligning with the Sun and Moon, integrating our duties and responsibilities to family and loved ones with the freedom loving journeys of Sagittarius. I imagine we will see a number of engagements occur at this New Moon!
Venus (relationships) is also featured prominently in the chart for this New Moon and any intentions that you create for this lunar cycle will want to include a focus on your interpersonal connections. “What can I do to create more harmony in my relationships and still retain my individuality” is a good question to ask at this New Moon. Don’t expect to achieve instant clarity, however, a challenging aspect from mystical Neptune will blur both the questions and the answers at the New Moon and a few days beyond. However, the information that you uncover will have merged with your conscious mind and will emerge when you are ready for it.
This is a period of great transition – not only is Uranus (radical change) conjunct Eris (goddess of discord), but we are in the final throes of the Uranus/Pluto square that has created so much disruption over the past eight years. This Sagittarius New Moon is the ideal time to let go of the hopes and dreams that have not served you well, and see a clearer vision of your new and improved future.
Any horoscopes for the 2020 election?
Not yet, I’m barely over the 2016 election. :)
Thank you Universe.
This is soooo encouraging.
Plan A is moving forward.
I’m already seeing progress in the economic and business cycles, and I am very excited for major spiritual advancement.
We will see more “Love, Joy, and Harmony throughout the world.

Hey Lynn, I am glad to see that you’re still posting after receiving your email almost a year ago that you had considered discontinuing this site or regular posting because you weren’t making money.
I feel the same way about the election–that it was definitely a Pluto event and all of America’s dirty laundry needs to be aired so we can finally have a catharsis in this country and watching the blithering idiot that’s Donald Trump for four years will leave no doubt how screwed up this country is.
But I read on another astrological site that the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn in 2020 favors conservatism/authoritarianism Republicans so I don’t know if I can deal with eight years of Trump/Pence and the Republicans controlling the entire government.
Hi Roderick, good to see you. I think you had misunderstood my message last year – I took a break from the monthly newsletter because my inability to monetize it caused me to feel that there was a lack of interest and I was having trouble finding the passion to keep it going. I took a break from writing and have been back for awhile now. You might want to sign up for the newsletter!
I think we can argue that Pluto in Capricorn brings out the dark side (Pluto) of conservatism and that this will continue through the Pluto in Cap journey. The Saturn Pluto event in 2020 will be an interesting event and a lot of what happens over the next few years will determine how that cycle plays out.
Ok thanks for the correction.
I am glad you’re still here to educate and entertain us with your columns.
I think the Uranus in Aries square to the U.S. Pluto in a couple of months could be an act of cyber (Uranus rules computers) warfare (Aries) and will be directed toward the U.S. financial markets mainly Wall Street and possibly the U.S. power grid which will cost the U.S. a lot of money (U.S. second house)
I have no idea why I have been thinking about that lately but I had to get it out there.
Hi,
NASA just spotted a massive hole growing on the surface of the sun
http://www.businessinsider.com/nasa-spot-massive-hole-sun-coronal-hole-video-2016-12
The earth has tilted, the magnetic field is changing, and who knows what else is going on in outer space. Any of these things could affect our satellite and electric grids. People and companies are too dependent on their electronics.
Although the Stock exchanges, electric companies, and pipelines have a backup system: landline telephones and paper.
Other companies would also have to resort to landline telephones and paper.
Individuals would see a big disruption too, specifically cell phones and satellite TV.
As far as a terrorist attack, the Stock exchanges, electric companies, and pipelines have a backup system off site that can be used at anytime.
PS. My husband is an engineer.
To touch someone with kindness, is to change someone forever.
Heavy, huh? That’s nothing.
Because for everyone you touch, you also reach everyone they will ever know. And everyone they will ever know. And everyone they will ever know. And so, for the rest of all time, your kindness will be felt, in waves that will spread, long after you move on.
Muchas gracias,
The Universe
Lynn, are you going to do a post on the potential Russian interference in the 2016 election?
Probably not specifically about that except in its context as generally illustrating the Pluto stuff going on right now in the US chart.
