I can’t remember where I found this poem from Clare Dubois, but I just love it. The shift of Pluto of Capricorn to Aquarius in the Age of Air* takes us from the solid world of Earth to a new awakening. It’s not a “peace and love” kind of understanding from the 1960s – Aquarius can have a sharp edge especially when we’re dealing with Pluto which demands that we break down the false constructs which we have built around us.

On the heels of the Aquarius New Moon with all its Uranian shock and awe, some of us may be looking ahead to an unknown future. Well to be fair, isn’t that all of us. 🤔  Here’s some sage advice.

My grandmother once gave me a tip:
In difficult times, you move forward in small steps.
Do what you have to do, but little by little.
Don’t think about the future, or what may happen tomorrow.
Wash the dishes.
Remove the dust.

When the world is traumatized it can be difficult to distinguish the pain inside from the pain outside. With Chiron conjunct the North Node over the next couple of weeks, urging the healing of our deepest wounds so that we can be freed to pursue our destiny, this poem seemed appropriate. 💖

with what’s out there
politics
crime
diseases
a thousand thousand reasons
for you not to hear

With Pluto still bridging the gap between Capricorn and Aquarius throughout the year, we are in the doorway to a new global experience. I love this piece by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and have made it my bible when I am overcome with the fact that I am such a small piece in the disasters of today, with no idea how to save the world.
