I recently found an article I wrote in 2011 when Neptune first entered Pisces in which I made some predictions:

“We are likely to see a more advanced wave of “designer” drugs – pharmaceuticals designed to evoke certain experiences.  The legalization of marijuana for medical use, and its adoption by pharmaceutical companies for profit, is likely to come rather quickly.  Neptune in its own sign could bring increased flooding, and potentially also epidemics of new diseases and infections with mysterious origins.”

The epidemic of mysterious origins certainly arrived on schedule, concurrent with the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto which generated worldwide fear and repression in the form of lockdowns and other attempts to control an uncontrollable epidemic. More recently, with Neptune at the last degrees of Pisces, the flooding on a global scale is way beyond anything I could have imagined. Here in North Carolina where I live, friends in the Western North Carolina mountains are experiencing devastation to their lives and livelihoods, many of whom have lost everything. Most homeowners insurance policies do not cover flooding, and flood insurance is not required in areas which are not considered prone to flood events.

But it’s not just North Carolina – this abundance of water (Neptune/Pisces) is occurring all over the world as recorded by this Twitter account. Flooding in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Alaska, Nepal, South America – and this really intensified in September and early October just after Neptune stationed retrograde at the 29th degree, called the “critical” degree since it is the very last degree before a planet leaves that sign. Pluto is also at the 29th degree, of Capricorn, where it is revealing the defects in  our underlying infrastructure.

I point all of this out not to be negative or catastrophic, but to illustrate the point that the world is not a chaotic mass of events. There is a relatively predictable pattern that we can follow to help us to understand the changing tides with a bit more clarity.

Pluto leaves Capricorn for good in November, and Neptune enters Aries in April next year (more about Neptune in Aries here). But first we have an election to get through, so stay tuned for more.
