My story. While working toward receiving a B.A. in psychology at Indiana University in 1969, I began a lifelong journey of spiritual exploration and healing, studying and practicing the Tarot for enhancing intuition and learning various types of meditation and healing modalities. In 1980 I began working with a psychotherapist to heal some emotional and soul damage and began my study of astrology. Steven Forrest, a personal friend, was my first teacher and I began consulting with clients in 1984, the same year I began a career in real estate.

en this book about the dynamics of affirmation, goal-setting and personal development which brought financial and business success. This was followed by a study of psychological astrology as taught by the Jungian analysts Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas which provided the foundation to my work in exploring the flow of energy through the body, psyche and spirit as shown by the astrological chart. I became an early adopter of the comet-like planet Chiron which has infused my work with modalities of healing and transformation.
I began writing monthly forecasts since 1991, beginning with a print column I called Skywatch in local New Age magazines Connexions and Innerchange I believe that Skywatch was one of the first astrological columns which reported the monthly planetary cycles rather than so-called horoscopes for Sun signs. With a proliferation of articles called Skywatch, it was clear that a name change was needed: Planetary Illuminations felt just right.
My writings have been featured on Beliefnet and Patheos, the two largest spirituality websites in the world, but I am most comfortable keeping my writings where I can control the appearance of the site – choosing artwork to accompany the post is one of the things I enjoy most.
My private consultations delve into the birthchart to discover the power and beauty that lay within, and reveal where conflicts and difficulties may lie. Once these are discovered, our journey begins in a co-creative effort to unlock patterns of subconscious reaction so that a life of conscious intention can manifest more fully.
