This has been an amazing trip so far!! Today Dharmaruci and Vajramala hosted Rich and I and our friends Dianne and David for a delicious lunch on their courtyard. It was lots of fun meeting DR after corresponding for about five years. Many of you will recognize Dharmaruci from his Astrotabletalk blog (linked in the sidebar), another of my favorites and most sympatico to this one.
There was a debate a couple of years ago whether DR’s rising sign was Virgo, Leo or Libra – I’m pleased to be able to confirm that it’s definitely Leo! He is a very entertaining guy and lots of fun to hang out with.
From here Rich and I head off to Cornwall for more magical adventures. Meanwhile I hope you are enjoying the menu of posts I prepared for you!
That sure looks like a fine spread of wine cheese, fruit and Astrology talk.
Compliments for the table… For what I can see, some of them are of Mediterranean origins…
Cheese of different kinds…
Lovely setting Thankyou for sharing your trip.
DELIGHTED to hear that DR has a Leo rising(me,too!!). CAN feel it in his wonderful work!Blessings to you both!
Leo rising, huh. Sure does fit! :-) What fun to have an opportunity to meet & visit in person. Beautiful setting & food too.
Thanks for sharing.

Lynn, could you ask Dharmaruci why he hates Obama?
I recall reading his blog a couple of years ago before the election and he wasn’t too fond of Obama.
Actually there was a poster named Twila who was a Brit living in America who bashed Obama also.
I wonder why Brits hate Obama so much.
Hi Roderick, I didn’t remember DR hating Obama so I hunted back to see what I could find. Google seems to like Beliefnet better than Blogspot so I was able to find this old article of mine quoting DR: http://blog.beliefnet.com/astrologicalmusings/2008/02/dharmaruci-on-obama-as-medicin.html. It’s relatively neutral and in conversation with him last week he appeared to think Obama is doing a pretty good job. Many astrologers were thrown by Obama’s Sun/Neptune square and the hysteria that surrounded his campaign which created a hype that no one could live up to. You may remember some pretty fevered comments on my blog as well from people that compared Obama to Hitler in the furor (no pun intended) that both generated. I think most of those people have settled down now and you don’t hear those kinds of comments any more in the astrological circles.
