If you are a first-time buyer, you probably have many questions about the homebuying process.  This is the place to start!

The first step will be to choose a buyer agent. You want to be sure the agent you work with has the time to spend with you as you go through the process of learning what you want in a home, and you want to be sure you can communicate with your agent.

You also want to be sure your agent will stay in contact with you and let you know right away about new listings that come on the market. The second step will be to prequalify for a loan. There are many kinds of mortgages, and you will need an experienced lender to help you decide which loan is right for you. Then the home search begins. First we will give you a tour of the neighborhoods where you are likely to find homes in your price range. We will provide you with market data on homes that have sold in those neighborhoods to help you become familiar with market value. We will set up an MLS search which will automatically send you new listings as they come available. We will want to be sure that you see as many homes as is necessary for you to really know which one is the right one for you.
