FARMER'S MARKETS
All over the Triangle, farmers are now bringing their fresh produce, baked goods, and crafts to the markets. Here is the schedule of local markets:
Carrboro Farmers Market Year round on Saturdays, Wednesday market opens in April.
Located near Town Hall, open Saturdays from 7 am til noon, and Wednesdays from 4-7 pm.
Southern Village Farmers Market, opens in April.
South Estes Farmers Market (at University Mall, Chapel Hill).
December to March on Saturdays, 10-noon; April to November Tuesdays 3-6 pm & Saturdays 8 am to noon.
Durham Farmers Market
Located at the old Durham ballpark (the DAP) on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon year-round.
Fearrington Farmers Market (starts April 8)
Located in the Fearrington Village Center, Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.
Pittsboro Farmers Market (starts April 3)
At Chatham County Fairgrounds off of Hwy 64, Thursday afternoons 3:30—6:30 pm.
Carolina Brewery Farmers Market (Pittsboro)
120 Lowe's Drive, Pittsboro. Open Saturdays from May to October 8 am-12 noon.
Hillsborough Farmers Market,
Located at CCB parking lot on Churton St., Saturdays 7:30 am to noon April thru November, 1st and 3rd Saturday 10 am-noon November thru March.
Raleigh (state) Farmers Market
I-40 to Lake Wheeler Rd, follow signs. Saturdays, 5 am to 6 pm & Sundays, noon to 6 pm.
Cary Farmers Market
Between Harrison and Academy at train depot, Tuesdays 3-6 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 12:30 pm.
Western Wake Farmers Market
Open year-round on Saturdays, Morrisville Carpenter Road. See website for map and hours.
