Lynn
(Monson) Hayes
graduated from Indiana University in 1973 with a B.A. in psychology
and sociology. After moving to North Carolina in 1979 she
worked as a real estate paralegal and office assistant to a real
estate and building company before becoming licensed as a salesman
1982. She obtained her broker's license in 1990, her GRI (Graduate
of the Realtors Institute) designation in 1991, and the prestigious
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1994.
Only 3% of all agents nationwide can use the CRS designation
which requires proven production and sales history, and only 9%
of all agents have earned the GRI designation.
Lynn has a unique service-oriented approach in working with
her clients. She has an excellent ability to determine the
needs and objectives of the client, and then works diligently to
meet those needs, providing unmatched service to both buyers and
sellers. "I'm less interested in making a sale than in helping
to facilitate the relocation process and find just the right home"
she says. She also has an understanding of technology that is unique
among real estate agents which helps her to efficiently handle communication
and transaction details.
Lynn has an extensive knowledge of the real estate market
in the entire Triangle area including Chapel Hill, Durham, Northern
Chatham County, Orange County and the Hillsborough area, Saxapahaw,
and portions of Wake County. She understands the unique needs
that all types of clients have, from relocating famliies, to single
parents, to retirees, and works hard to ensure that their needs
are met and their goals achieved.
Lynn lives with her husband Rich in the country
with their dog Amber, cat Katie, and occasional foster dogs. When
not selling real estate, she and Rich enjoy traveling, concerts,
hiking, camping, and cooking. Lynn is
also an occasional musician with the Duke Dance Department and is
currently learning to play the hammer dulcimer.
